Hello Booths

The executive producer of Chicago Ideas Week asked how we could build an application that would allow people around the City of Chicago to meet face to face to discuss the things that make Chicago great, as well as the ways it can be improved. It would be a tool to help residents in different parts of the city, with different perspectives, discuss divisive issues in a positive way. The result is a collaboration between art and technology that can help people come together across the neighborhood boundaries to share ideas and pledge to make Chicago better. The Hello Booth application is a custom video conferencing, recording, and playback application built by Origin Development for Chicago Ideas Week 2017.
